Brendon and Weeptown is an animated series created by Brendon Bell for YouTube. The series centers on Brendon Hanks, along with his friends Dylan, Alif and Zuhairi, and his tycoon grandfather Harold Hanks. The show is set in the fictional city of Weeptown. It is set to premiere on the Blubberfishfats channel in January 2019 with a 44-minute pilot movie.


After not seeing his grandfather for years, Brendon Hanks is migrated to Weeptown to help Mr. Hanks in his money-making adventures.

Main Characters

Brendon Hanks (voiced by Brendon Bell) is the grandson of Weeptown mayor and tycoon Harold Hanks.

Dylan (voiced by ) is Brendon's closest friend since toddlerhood. He usually sees situations negatively and has a tendency to make sarcastic remarks or lose his temper. Despite that, Brendon helps him see the positive side of things and in turn, Dylan's always at his beck and call when it comes to their crazy adventures with the rest.

Alif (voiced by Brendon Bell) is a bubbly person who has a passion for food. He is the comic relief of the group and is care-free

"Brendon and Friends" revival

The idea of making a cartoon series of his own was always in creator Brendon Bell's mind ever since he was introduced to the classic Disney shorts as a toddler. When he was 6 years old, he experimented with animation for the first time with "Brendon" in 2010, later renamed "Brendon and Friends" in 2013.

Season Two (1988-1989)

Like "Treasure of the Golden Suns" before them, "Time Is Money" and "Super DuckTales" premiered in the two-hour television movie format, but would repeat in the series' regular rotation as five-part serials. Specifically, "Time Is Money" was first serialized from February 20–24, 1989, and "Super DuckTales" was first serialized from October 9–13, 1989.

In September 1989, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers joined DuckTales in syndication as a companion series. That fall, 17 of the 20 still-expected episodes first aired. Also, unexpectedly, "A DuckTales Valentine (Amour or Less)" premiered in February 1990 on NBC's The Magical World of Disney.

On September 10, 1990, The Disney Afternoon started airing, with DuckTales included as part of its lineup and takes place after the events of DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp. "Ducky Mountain High", "The Duck Who Knew Too Much", and "Scrooge's Last Adventure" were produced for season three, but didn't air until season four.
